The information regarding Rona is that she was christened Rona Mary, recorded as born Jan-Mar 1929, when her birth was also registered in Dublin South. It may however be that she was born in late 1928, with her birth only subsequently registered in early 1929, which occurred commonly, especially where babies were born at home. The district nurses registering the births were known to have recorded some dates in error...She was recorded to have died on 11th Feb 1929. She was buried by her Uncle John Walsh in a common grave in Mount Jerome cemetry in Dublin City.
